Agreement
Linxshot (“we”, “us”) provides the Linxshot browser extension and this website. By installing the extension, buying Linxshot Pro or creating a share link, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Linxshot.
Free and Pro
Linxshot is free to use. The free version includes every capture mode, link hotspots, an unlimited local library, search by name, domain and links, page-text search over the last 5 days, library backups, 3 linked PDF exports a day with manual page breaks, and 5 share links a day.
Linxshot Pro is an optional one-time purchase that adds the local features listed on the pricing page at the time you buy: deep search across every capture, unlimited linked PDF exports, number, sticker and image annotations, selecting and copying page text, and custom hotspot colors. Pro also raises share links to 100 a day. Share links run on our servers, so their daily limits follow the share service’s rules and may change; they aren’t covered by the one-time purchase in the same way as local features.
Pro license
When you buy Pro, you receive a license key by email. The license is personal and lets you use Pro on up to 3 installations of Linxshot at the same time. You can free an installation slot from the extension and use it elsewhere.
Pro is a one-time purchase with no automatic renewal. Features included in Pro when you buy it won’t later be moved behind a subscription. Possible future cloud services, such as cloud sync, aren’t part of Pro and may be offered separately as a subscription.
Please don’t share, resell or publish your license key, or try to bypass license checks. We may deactivate keys that are shared publicly or obtained through fraud.
Payments
Purchases aren’t open yet. When they open, orders will be processed by Creem, our merchant of record. Creem handles payment, sales tax or VAT, and receipts, and its own terms apply to the payment itself. The price you pay, including any tax, is shown at checkout before you confirm.
Refunds
You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. See the Refund Policy for details.
Your content
You own your captures. They are stored locally in your browser, and we don’t have access to them. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to capture, keep and share the content you save.
When you create a share link, you give us permission to store that copy and show it to anyone who has the link, only for as long as the link is active. You can revoke a share link at any time.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Linxshot or its share service to:
- Share illegal, infringing, sexual or violent content, phishing, scams or malware
- Harass others or share someone’s private information without permission
- Overload, probe or get around the limits of the share service
Anyone can report a share from its page. We review reports, take down shares that break these rules and may limit access to the share service. Shares with links to sites known to be dangerous can’t be published.
Our software
The Linxshot extension, website, name and logo belong to us. Buying Pro gives you a license to use the software; it doesn’t transfer ownership. Except where the law allows it, please don’t copy, modify, redistribute or reverse engineer the extension.
Changes and availability
We keep improving Linxshot, so features may change. If we ever remove a Pro feature you paid for, you can ask for a refund under the Refund Policy. The share service depends on servers we run, and its daily limits and link validity periods may change.
Disclaimer and liability
Linxshot is provided “as is”. We work to keep it reliable, but we can’t promise it will be free of errors or that captures will never be lost. Please export library backups regularly.
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Pro. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.
Ending these terms
You can stop using Linxshot at any time by uninstalling it. We may deactivate a license or block access to the share service if these terms are seriously broken, for example through fraud or license key sharing.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date above, and for significant changes we’ll give notice on this website. Continuing to use Linxshot after an update means you accept the new terms.
